Unlike shared hosting where many clients are on one server, dedicated server hosting is when one website has the whole server to itself and doesn’t have to worry about another client website using all of the resources, which is one benefit to having a dedicated server to host a client website.
Another benefit to having a dedicated server opposed to a shared server is if one website is hacked and infected with a virus all of the other clients are at risk to be affected by the same virus, which has cause a lot of damage to a website. When having a dedicated server the only website that needs to be worried about is one.
When having a dedicated server, the client can have more control over what can be installed and optimized, which gives a client the freedom to customize their webpage. A client has no worry of their website showing down or not running when installing updates or optimizing the website, like they would if they have their website on a shared server.
Overall having a dedicated server for a client website has many advantages, even though it is more expensive, as you can see you can get more bang for your buck.
